The Workforce Housing Coalition of Colorado unites small business landlords, property managers, and housing advocates committed to keeping workforce housing attainable and sustainable across our state.

Welcome to the Workforce Housing Coalition of Colorado

  • A group of small business landlords, property managers, and housing advocates committed to keeping workforce housing attainable and sustainable in Colorado

  • We represent independent, community-focused housing providers, not corporate owners

  • We focus on practical, real-world solutions to the housing crisis in Colorado

Who We Are

  • A coalition of real estate professionals, small and mid-sized landlords, and housing advocates

  • We live and work in the communities we serve—we aren't absentee investors or institutional landlords

  • Members include Colorado property owners, developers, legal and policy experts, and others directly involved in workforce housing

Our coalition includes people who understand the day-to-day challenges of providing quality rental housing while navigating complex regulations.

Why We Exist

  • Colorado's housing policies have become unbalanced, making it harder for property owners to provide housing

  • New laws have made rental housing more expensive, reduced availability, and increased risk for housing providers

  • We believe in protecting renters AND ensuring landlords can stay in business—because without landlords, there are no rental homes

  • We want to stop harmful legislation AND work toward positive policy changes that create a healthier, more sustainable housing market

Our Approach

We bring practical knowledge and real-world experience to housing policy discussions:

  • Advocating for balanced regulations that protect residents without making housing impossible to provide

  • Educating policymakers about the unintended consequences of well-intentioned but flawed policies

  • Offering solutions that address Colorado's housing challenges without sacrificing housing availability or affordability
